Bike Northwoods Tour Specific Updates for the 2022
Season
4/12/22
- The tour will be staying in Minocqua instead of Mercer this year. Specific
route information will be updated shortly after we scout the route in person.

- Registration is now open for the 2022 Bike Northwoods Tour! Click

12/3/21
- We will not provide hotel baggage service in Manitowish Waters.
Instead, you should bring your baggage to the main lodging
site yourself when
you park there long-term during the tour.
- If you sign up for the Mechanical Support
Plan, you will need to specifically request the pre-ride inspection yourself
as we will not be able to search out each participant individually
to provide it.
- Due to increasing prices for gas and food, the regular registration price
of the full tour has increased by $20.00 and each riding day of a partial
day tour has increased by $5.00 per day for all participant types. The
price of the towel service has also increased by $1.00 from $6.00 to $7.00
per day. The prices for late registration have also increased accordingly.
The prices of all other services and merchandise will remain the same as

- Unfortunately, we can only allow postponed 2020 participants to register
for an event at the original 2020 pricing schedule one time. Click

- Web site updated with 2022 dates!
- The 2022 Bike Northwoods Tour will occur on July 9th - 15th.
- The tour will be a loop
(starting and ending at the same location) with a layover
day in each stopping town again.
- The stopping towns for the 2022 Bike Northwoods Tour will be Manitowish Waters, Park Falls, and Minocqua! We will also
be riding the beautiful new Heart
of Vilas County Paved Bike Trail System as one of the highlights
of the tour. Click

- Because our business is now based in Dane County, Wisconsin (previously
Chicago, Illinois) we must now charge every participant Wisconsin
sales tax on all Bike Wisconsin event services and merchandise.
Accordingly, we will no longer have separate registration forms or charge
separate taxes for Wisconsin and non-Wisconsin residents.

- Registration procedures for postponed 2020

- The late fee for full registration for riders
of all week-long events has increased from
$100.00 to $125.00. The late fee for all other
riders and participants of all other partial
day and non-week long events and services has
increased from $20.00 to $25.00 per day. The
late fees for non-riders of all week-long events
and all other extra services and merchandise
has not changed.
- The number of days you register for the optional
Towel Service, Tent Rental, Chair Rental, and
Mechanical Support Plan must be the same as
the number of days you will attend the event.
For example you cannot register to ride for
six days but only register for two days of
the Mechanical Support Plan.
- No refunds will be issued in the event we
are unable to run an event due to circumstances
beyond our control. These circumstances
include but are not limited to disasters (natural
and/or manmade), pandemics, war, acts of
terrorism,
government regulations, strikes, civil
disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities,
or
acts of God. (Force Majure)
- Only online registration will be available after regular registration
closes four weeks before the start of the tour in order to assure that
we receive all of your information and payment in a timely manner due to
laspes in mail service. This deadline also corresponds to the regular registration

- Bike Wisconsin patches added to extra merchandise items!
- We have changed our online registration service provider to RaceRoster.com!
- The price of the tour has increased by $5 per day for full tour registration
and $6 per day for partial day tour registration including all non-riders
and volunteers due to significantly increased rental fees for our main
lodging sites and rest stop locations (parks). The prices of all other
tour services and merchandise will be the same as last year! Click

- The route will open and route support services will begin at 6:30 am.
- Check-in will be open from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday evening and
the opening meeting will be at 6:45 am on Sunday. We will not be conducting
an opening meeting on Saturday in order to better accommodate participants
who may have to arrive late due to personal travel plans. Click

- WE NO LONGER ISSUE ANY REFUNDS
AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. If you do not participate
and would like a refund you MUST purchase
an individual travel insurance plan, which will reimburse
you according to the plan coverage. Click

- You will need make sure to bring your own floor pumps with you. We will
not be providing floor pumps for general participant use in the morning. Click
