Transportation Staging Point
The transportation staging point in Prairie du Chien will be directly at the main lodging site.

Saturday Morning

All participants must arrive at the Prairie du Chien transportation staging point 7:30 am Saturday morning.

The check in and loading process will consist of checking in, attaching our identification tags to your bicycle and baggage, and loading your bicycle and loading your baggage.

When you check in you will receive all of your registration materials for the tour (cue sheets, maps, etc.) That way you will be able to review them as you travel to the start of the tour, and not having to check you in after you arrive will speed the process of unloading your bike and baggage and also checking in other participants initially arriving at the start of the event.

Hotel Baggage Delivery Service

Participants Staying at the Supported Hotel in Prairie du Chien
If you are staying at the supported hotel in Prairie du Chien on Friday night, we will not provide separate hotel baggage delivery service unless specifically requested. Instead, you will need to transport your baggage yourself between the supported hotel and the main lodging site.

Participants Staying at the Supported Hotel in Eagle River
If you are staying at the supported hotel in Eagle River, every individual baggage item to be delivered to the supported hotel must have a Bike Wisconsin supported hotel baggage identification tag attached to it before they can be loaded. These tags will be supplied in your registration materials.

Friday Evening Early Bike Drop Off
We will also be set up at the transportation staging point from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday evening to load bicycles early.

Taking advantage of this service could be very convenient for you. You won't have to deal with the hassle of transporting both your bike and your baggage early Saturday morning and can avoid all the confusion of everyone else who will be arriving Saturday morning. By pre-loading as many bikes as possible beforehand, it will also help assure a much quicker departure time for everyone from Prairie du Chien on Saturday morning.

Please note that you can only drop off your bicycle early, not your baggage. This is because we can store your bicycle securely locked up inside our truck but not your baggage since it will be transported underneath our coach busses. Besides, you'll probably need your baggage Friday night anyways!

Both outdoor tent and indoor sleeping bag and air mattress camping will be available at the Prairie du Chien main lodging site on Friday evening.

Long Term Parking
Long term parking for the entire tour will also be directly at the main lodging site so you won't need to carry your bicycle or baggage very far!
