Come join SAGBRAW®, Wisconsin's oldest cross-state bicycle tour. You’ll pedal over some of the most picturesque, bicycle-friendly terrain in the state. Feel a cool breeze off sparkling Lake Michigan. Take a break with some of the best pie in the world. Sample Wisconsin’s finest cheeses. Meet new and old friends under a blue, midwestern sky. This family-friendly and fully-supported tour has plenty of fun, memories and adventures to last a lifetime.
We’ve planned non-stop merriment for SAGBRAW® 2012, a 6-day ride that covers 360 miles. The loop tour starts in Appleton with an awesome kickoff party, followed by overnights in Manitowoc New Overnight, Plymouth, Waupun (layover day), and Green Lake before returning to Appleton. New for 2012, no charge for week-long parking at the staging area and PreRide Camping is also no charge too.
Highlights will include the rolling countryside of eastern Wisconsin, scenic views of Lake Michigan and partying at the Green Lake County Junior Free Fair. Enjoy cycling heaven with an average of 50-60 miles per day. The tour is limited to 1000 cyclists. Intermediate cycling ability level.
SAGBRAW® is a fully supported tour. We haul all your luggage to and from each overnight town. No worries. Just ride at your own pace, drink in the scenery, gobble up delicious delights, and laugh at the cows. We’ll overnights at schools where a hot shower will be guaranteed. Indoor and outdoor camping will be available and staff and volunteers always nearby when you need assistance. Check out the FAQ page for more information.
