GETTING TO STAGING TOWN: ORANGE, FRANCE

Plan so you arrive in Orange by 5pm on the first day of the tour. We will do a short tour of the town and then head to dinner.

France has good train connections. Two popular options to get to the staging town:
Option 1
Fly into Marseille, France
Bus: To Gare Vitrolles Marseille Provence Airport Train Station, 5 minutes
Train: To Avignon Centre-Ville station, 59 minutes
Train: From Avignon Centre-Ville Station to Orange, 15 minutes
Taxi: To Hotel in Orange

Option 2
Fly into Paris, France, Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).
Train: Paris TGV station at CDG airport to Avignon TGV station suburban  @ 3 hours
Shuttle bus: From Avignon TGV suburban station to Avignon Centre-Ville station, 15 minutes
Train: From Avignon Centre-Ville Station to Orange, 15 minutes
Taxi: To Hotel in Orange

Depending on your flight connections and train connections you may decide to stay an extra day or two either in Paris or elsewhere. This makes a nice addition to the tour. **Please take into consideration that flights may be delayed when you make your train reservations.
